Joan Ellen Daly

January 23, 1932 — October 30, 2024

Morehead City

Joan Ellen Wilson Daly, born on January 23, 1932, long time resident of Brandywine Bay, went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2024. She passed peacefully and comfortably in her home, surrounded by loving family members. Joan was preceded in death by the love of her life, Edward Joseph Daly, whom she met on her 16th birthday. They shared 50 wonderful years of love together. Joan often expressed that she lived a ‘charmed life’ which was reflected in her quick laugh and the family stories she frequently and enthusiastically shared.

Treasuring her memory are her children Ed (Connie), Ken (Sue), Scott (Joann) and Diane Daly, “MomMom” to 9 grandchildren, 19 great grand children and 3 great great grandchildren, brother Jerry (Peggy) Wilson, and sister in-laws Barbara and Lori Wilson.

Rejoice! Mom’s kitchen table prayer sessions with our Heavenly Father are now happening face to face!

There will be a Memorial Mass dedicated for Mom at 11AM on Thursday December 5, 2024 at St. Egberts Catholic Church, 1706 Evans Street Morehead City, NC 28557

In lieu of flowers it is requested donations be made to St. Egberts Catholic Church.
